Hayley orrantia is a native of the US. She is primarily an actress, but she's also a singer and songwriter. The majority of people recognize her as Erica Goldberg, from the TV show, 'The Goldenbergs. Even though she sings, her primary passion is music. Music, according to her, is first thing she loves. She began playing with it when she was nine years old. As she grew to the age of 12, the music she was playing took on a serious nature and she began to train professionally. When she was 13 when she began writing her own music. Her first cover album didn't come out until 14 years later. It has been non-stop ever since. Orrantia was born in the USA but she is a native of the United States with Hispanic origins. She has Hispanic roots even if she was only able to speak English when she was a kid and lived her life in the USA. She hopes to protect it by creating Spanish songs, and also taking classes in the language. "Hasta Verte," a track she composed in Spanish is a good example. Orrantia performed for The X Factor during its debut season in the summer of 2011. Orrantia was chosen out of a YouTube video that she submitted and got four "yes" votes from the jury during the live audition phase in Seattle, Washington. At first, she auditioned as a soloist, she along with three female singers were put with three other singers for the last auditions during "Hollywood Week". They were eliminated in the fifth week of live shows.
