Sharni Vinson, an Australian-American performer, actress and dancer born on the 22nd of July, 1983. She was born in Sydney Australia. Her acting debut occurred in 2001 when she was selected to feature in the Australian Soap opera Home and Away where she had a minor role in two episodes. Because of her outstanding performance that she received the opportunity to take on the leading roles. She however did try out for the role, however she was not chosen instead in the same show she got to play the role of Cassie turner who was the troubled teenage girl who was placed in foster care. Fans and critics of the show praised the role she played. In the sixth grade she was hired by her dad as an actress to work with her. As time passed, she started playing small roles on shows like The Love Boat T.J. Hooker & Fantasy Island. Her fame began to rise at the age of 17 when she got the role of Donna Martin in the commercially popular series Beverly Hills 90210. Spelling Television is her father's film production company. Due to this part that she was nominated, she won 2 Young Artist Awards. After that, she was a renowned actor on television in various films. These included A Friend to Die For in 1993. A Carol Christmas in 2002 as well as The Last Sharknado (It's About Time) in 2018. She subsequently moved to films that were independent, such as The House of Yes which was released in 1997 Scary Movie 2. The sequel was released in 2001.
