sylvester stallone-4-1024x1024Stallone was born at a charity hospital located in the Hell's Kitchen area of New York City. The forceps used to deliver Stallone's baby damaged the facial nerve. Stallone now has an elongated right eyelid as well as speech problems. After spending much of his first year being in boarding schools, Stallone rejoined his family and moved with them to Maryland when he was five. Stallone initially resided with his father following his parents' divorce in 1957, however, at the age of 15 he joined his remarried mother in Philadelphia. Because of his history of school expulsions Stallone was enrolled in an institution for troubled teenagers.
